Campaign Story

Hello,
My name is Sarah, and my husband’s name is Angel. We’ve been married for 6 years, (in a relationship for 9!) and we are wishing with all our hearts for a family. In 2017, the year we got married, I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). We knew that would bring many complications in trying to start a family, but we didn’t know to what extent. I’m on the menorrhagia side of the spectrum, which means my periods are longer and heavier than most. I was even hospitalized and had a blood transfusion because of it (yikes!). I was on contraceptives on and off, for months at a time, for years, in an attempt to regulate my irregular cycles, with no luck. But after our SECOND chemical pregnancy, we decided to seek the help of a specialist. We went into a fertility program for couples at an acupuncture clinic, from which we benefited greatly, but still had some unanswered questions regarding my, still, irregular cycles.

So, after a conversation with our doctor about the possibility that endometriosis or adenomyosis could be something to look out for, we decided (for the second time) to look into fertility treatments, like IUI, IVF, ICSI or whatever felt right for our family.
But as you all know, this… is… expensive.

We are currently pouring our hearts and souls into becoming parents, but WE NEED HELP.

All funds raised will go toward any expenses regarding medical testing, procedures or treatment related to infertility, after insurance coverage, if any, takes effect.
